Noise cancellation feature dropped in new AirPods

Taiwanese news portal DigiTimes has reported that Apple is planning to release a new AirPods with the same design as the current AirPods Pro, but without the active noise cancellation feature. It’s because of this change that fans of Apple products can expect a lower price for AirPods.

AirPods were expected to be launched in May 2020, but a Taiwanese news portal has reported that the global health crisis has pushed the launch of the device back to the second half of 2020 or even the first half of 2021. “According to a DigiTimes report, the threat of the coranavirus has prevented Apple employees from organising scheduled work in Asia, but so far there has been no official change to the AirPods’ launch date.
